What is your new patient procedure?

You will need a referral from your GP to see Dr Salindera. Once we have your referral it will be triaged depending on urgency. New cancer patients will be seen as a priority and usually within 7 business days.

There is a fee associated with having a consultation and this will be quoted to you at the time of booking.

Unfortunately we cannot offer walk in appointments.

Surgery Planning & Recovery

Our team and your hospital of choice will provide detailed pre-operative and post-operative care instructions. Planning for your surgery and ensuring you have adequate time to recover is important to maximising outcomes.

Costs of Surgery

Dr Salindera offers care in both the pubic and private hospital systems. There are consultation fees associated with clinic appointments and surgeries.

If you have private insurance with hospital cover your surgery might be covered with a known gap fee but we recommend you contact your fund to confirm.

Breast procedures are highly personalised and therefore the costs of the procedure are individualised, and varying per patient. Your procedure costs depend on the complexity of the procedure, duration of the procedure, and specific procedure details. They will cover surgeon’s fees, anaesthesia fees, hospital fees and any costs required during your recovery such as medication and any follow-up appointments. To receive a personalised quote, you will need to book a consultation to discuss all of the information above and have your procedure plan created.
