Dr Shehnarz Salindera

Breast Cancer Surgery, Aesthetic Breast Surgery & Melanoma Surgery.

Dr Salindera is a General Surgeon who was born and raised in Coffs Harbour. Her study took her to Sydney where she undertook a Bachelor of Science and also a Masters in Health Law at the University of Sydney before undertaking her medical degree at Flinders University, Adelaide. After completing her Internship and residency at Coffs Harbour Hospital she was selected into the General Surgery specialist training program with the Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick. She has completed the Value-Based Healthcare Program at Harvard Business School and holds a Masters in Surgery at Oxford University, UK focusing on Healthcare Innovation & Quality.

With a longstanding interest being a specialist breast surgeon in a regional setting, Dr Salindera pursued extra training in Oncoplastic breast surgery, melanoma and surgical oncology at Royal North Shore Hospital & Melanoma Institute Australia, which would not have been possible without support from the Friends of the Mater Foundation. She gained additional experience in breast surgery at the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute and completed a Graduate Certificate in advanced Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney, before returning to work in Coffs Harbour.

Dr Salindera is an experienced breast surgeon and in addition to her cancer work also performs aesthetic breast surgery and assess overall breast Health.

She is also a Governing Board Member for the Mid North Coast Area Health Service and undertakes research and academic work.

Dr Salindera offers outpatient consultation services at her clinic in 15 Duke Street Coffs Harbour and operates at Coffs Harbour Hospital, Baringa Private Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital & Miami Day Hospital.
